"May I take your order?"

Sometimes I wish that there was a drive through for new body parts. If there was, I would order up a new head today. Well, not really...but it would be nice sometimes. I've been fighting a sinus infection/asthma/ear infection for a week now and am feeling pretty worn down from it. I ended up back at the doctor today and got a second kind of antibiotics, so hopefully that will kick in soon (that's 3 doctor's visits in 4 days...I think a new record for me!).

Anyway, still no baby yet. I'm actually kind of glad, because I would like to be feeling better before she is born. I had a sonogram yesterday and the baby looks good. The nurse can't get over how long her hair is. She said to make sure that I take a hairbrush for her to the hospital! The doctor is still keeping a close eye on my blood pressure, which remains high...so I go back for more blood work on Monday and another appointment on Tuesday. He mentioned yesterday that if my blood pressure remains high we will start talking about inducing, so we'll see what he says next week.

I did get a little chuckle at the appointment yesterday. When the doctor walked in the room, he said something and I didn't hear what he said, so he repeated himself. I still didn't quite catch it, but I thought I heard the word "ear". So I said, "Oh, were you asking how my ears are?" Then I heard the nurse start laughing. She was laughing because the doctor WAS asking how my ears were, only because of the ear infections, I couldn't hear him. ...so I guess he figured out the answer! : )

  1. Dear Julia,
What a novel idea! I hope you soon feel better. I pray that your sinus condition will clear up and that your blood pressure will go down. Love to you all,
